The Boro’ Bill Posting Company and Their Surviving Ghost Signs

I’ve been carrying our some research into the Boro’ Bill Posting Company, once one of London’s largest outdoor advertising contractors and, importantly, at a time when many of today’s ghost signs were painted.

I’m still looking for documentary evidence of their activities with some of the major advertisers of the 1920s and 1930s to produce hand-painted wall signs. To help this I’m sharing progress to date via the video above, and the attached document, to see if this encourages viewers and readers to offer up more leads. Please email me on sam@ghostsigns.co.uk with anything that you happen to discover.
