The Future of Ghostsigns’ Walking Tours

Photo: Gloria Soria

After much deliberation I have taken the decision to cease leading my public walking tours after the last one in May this year. That means there are just two dates left for each of my Stoke Newington and Bankside walks. I will continue to offer private tours to larger groups, students and corporate clients, and the app also offers a way of experiencing them.

I have been running the walking tours since October 2013 and still thoroughly enjoy every single one. It’s also been fantastic to receive the extremely positive feedback that has led to me winning the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence three years running from 2015-17. However, I now have a young and growing family and the weekends when I usually run the public tours are the time I now treasure with them. While I do charge for the public tours, the income after tax and booking fees now makes them hard to justify in this context.

I’d like to thank everyone (800+) that has joined me on a walk over the last 4.5 years, and all those that have contributed to my research in developing both of the walks. As above, there are still opportunities to participate before I close them down, and get in touch if you have a group interested in a private walk.
