Jane’s London scooped a full page in Time Out this week featuring her photography of ‘Ghost Pubs’ around London, former pubs where evidence of their past life is still visible on the building.
There must be literally hundreds of these just in London, and more and more created each year as places close down. I once heard that if you visited a different pub each day of your drinking life you still wouldn’t visit every one in London. I wonder if this is still true or if the demise of the local boozer has altered the fact…
Anyway, nice work Jane, do check out her blog for more historic photography, including a massive collection of Ghost Signs.
