Exhibition & Press (USA) 1

Letitia Street at Market Street in Olde City, by Lawrence O’Toole

Lawrence O’Toole from the The Philadelphia Ghost Sign Project has secured a month long exhibition at the PRIMER Microstudio.
For those readers who live anywhere near this it would be worth getting along, above is one example from Lawrence’s collection.

In addition to this exposure there was also a recent article in Baltimore’s STYLE magazine featuring some pictures taken by local photographer LaShelle Bynum. Above is how it looked in print and here is the text and images online for easy reading. (NB. The headline is remarkably similar to the title of Passikoff’s book…)

Nice work you guys, sorry I can’t make the exhibition (it’s only 3,549 miles away!).

    >This blog is amazing…your images are familiar to me as I drive around the city streets of Baltimore often. When I look at the signs/advertisements, I think of the days when they were vivid and noticed. But there is something more appealing about them faded that entrances…it leaves so much to the imagination. Thank you for sharing your beautiful eye for the haunted.

I write a blog on neglected beauty, which showcases unloved flowers, gardens and yard art in Maryland. You may enjoy looking at some of the pictures.
