Ghost Signs Live (India?)

It again shows an intricate sign being produced and you can see the artist's miniture design sheet perched against the wall in front of his foot. I can't read the text but the box in the picture and the colours remind me of PG Tips. Would they bother drinking that in India?

I've heard that this method of advertising is still widespread in India due to it still being relatively economical to pay sign writers as opposed to producing printed billboards.

  1. Hey there,

I'm Hessam and took this picture while travelling in Kerala, India. This is actually an ad for a very popular soap called Medimix: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Medimix_(soap) and http://images.google.com/images?svnum=100&um=1&hl=en&q=medimix+&btnG=Search+Images

  2. This is a great blog—I'm so glad to see other artists keeping the ghost sign tradition alive.
