Frank Jump is a leading photographer of Ghost Signs in USA with quite a unique story as to how and why he got started.
I was in touch with him last year and he mentioned a visit to London where he saw one of the classic Gillette signs and also one for a tailor in Soho which I haven't come across yet.

He has a blog of his own which is well worth a look for some great shots of USA signs which are more prolific and often much bigger than ours in the UK. The one shown here is Frank's signature photo and a fantastic example of the scale and versatility of design. I'd love to see this one for real, it's gigantic!
